Basically, on every Rpg maker program (except XP), there will be a option to rid your RPG of the RTP totally. I got the idea from some other people, but I have my own unique way of doing it.
Step 1.
Open your RM2k/3 RTP folder, and COPY/PASTE all of the resources in their corresponding catagories in your game's folder.
Edit:
AND copy the Harmony.dll from your RTP to your game's directory. To make things work in the right order, if you left out a resource, the Harmony.dll will cover it for you.
Step 2.
Open the RPG_RT.ini from your game's folder directory when it was created with the "NEW PROJECT". Then, insert this:
FullPackageFlag=1
That will trick the game into running without the RTP. If you are thinking to create a setup, you HAVE to include all the RTP files, because the RPG_RT.ini will delete that line. I recommend doing that in a computer WITH the WinRAR program, some people cannot extract the game files that are already included in there.
I am currently seeing if I can do this with RMXP. |
